Over the past few years, data storytelling has taken off. This is not only because data and the role it plays in our lives is increasing. It’s also because storytelling is the way we as humans have always come to understand ourselves and the world we live in.
A story told with numbers, and the magic of data storytelling, can be used to captivate your audience with compelling data narratives in the AI era.
The course aims to provide an overview of the data storytelling process, how to inspire the audience through story, and the actionable steps to take after presenting and sharing it with the aid of AI.
Participants should bring a laptop (Windows or Macbook, no chromebook) with administrative rights to install and run applications for this course. Tableau software will be installed. Laptop/Macbook can acccess Hotel Wifi or your own mobile hotspot

Prerequisite
Must know how to use mobile devices and laptops and install software and applications
All participants should have their laptops (Windows or MacBook ONLY, NO Chomebook), instructions will be given on Tableau software installation.
Methodology
This is a hands-on course, so bringing along a laptop is essential. There will be hands-on practices, activities, demonstration for various topics so that you can apply what is being taught.
A combination of lectures, case examples, videos and hands-on exercises will be used to engage participants to understand, learn and acquire practical skills about the various topics.
